Norway Bears Spring Bear Weekend 2018
We repeat last year’s success and invite bears from all over to join us for our big bear weekend for three days in May!
Program
Friday, May 25 9 PM – Welcome Pub at Cesar, C J Hambros plass 2, https://goo.gl/maps/mQ5afNAGk3u
Saturday, May 26 1 PM – Guided tour along the Akerselva river on the Oslo east end
We’ll start in front of Nedre Foss gård (map) at 1 PM. Per Østvold, our guide, will meet us there.
The tour will be a slow-paced walk from Grünerløkka down to Grønland, past Oslo Plaza, over to Oslo S, the Opera, and by the new Munch Museum that is under construction.
From there we’ll go out to the exclusive Sørenga to the sea bath. Along the way, Per will guide us to the plans for this area in the near future, the reopening of Akerselva river lower paths, and about nice places worth a visit, for both food and drinks.
The whole trip i approximately 3 kilometers (less than 2 miles) and will last around two hours, including breaks for refreshments.
